Is Composer compatible with my sink?

Yes! Composer is compatible with all standard kitchen sink drains. If you don’t already have the required air gap hole in your countertop, you or your plumber can easily add one in less than 5 minutes.

What type of food waste can go into my Composer?

Composer can handle 100% of your food waste. If it came from a plant or animal, it can go down your sink.

What makes Composer uncloggable?

Composer’s patent-pending FreshFlow system prevents clogs before they happen. A 1HP grinding motor chews food into small particles. Next, our bio-enzymes take over and chemically digest the remaining scraps. The automatic water flush then rinses food swiftly through your pipes without slowing down.

What about the environmental impact?

Using Composer is environmentally friendly! By putting food waste in a garbage disposal, you’re avoiding the negative impacts of landfill emissions. Instead, food waste that enters the sewer is often used to generate energy at your local wastewater plant.

How often do I need to refill the enzyme pod?
